Preparing and planning a custom made course involves the following steps

Carrying out a needs analysis at the company/organizations to determine the sort of things prospective students needs to use English for in their work.

Assessing prospective students language ability. This is through a series of short tests that assess students ability in reading, writing, speaking, listening.

Designing a course outline based on the needs analysis and students assessment

Discussing the course design with the prospective client

Preparing and teaching the course with a combination of published materials and materials prepared for the courses

Carrying out formative and summative assessment tests and gathering feedback

Preparing course reports and individual students reports.
